'Fever Pitch: The Battle For The Premier League' is available exclusively on the streaming service from May 7 and charts how the Premier League was transformed by huge sums of money as international investors came into the game.
The four-part series features exclusive interviews with some of the biggest names in the beautiful game – including David Beckham, Jose Mourinho, Wayne Rooney, Arsene Wenger and Frank Lampard.
The series begins in April 2003 and tells the story of how Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich's takeover of Chelsea created a credible rival to title winners Manchester United and Arsenal.
As new contenders rise, so do owner expectations and fierce rivalries develop.
Through candid tales on the pitch and in the boardroom, the series explores the decade that money ruled at both ends of the table – with clubs like Leeds United and Southampton desperately trying to stay afloat in the top-flight of English football.
The series explores events at both the top and bottom of the Premier League with Southampton's battle to avoid relegation in 2005, Leeds' rise and fall from grace and the rollercoaster career of promising young English player Jermaine Pennant all analysed.
