The My Name is Earl actress was staying at the Signia by Hilton San Jose last Thursday (27.08.26) ahead of her appearance at GalaxyCon at the nearby convention centre, but is said to have been asked to leave following complaints from fellow guests.
Multiple witnesses told TMZ that Jaime - who has 18-year-old son Dezi with Eric Cubiche and eight-year-old twins Leo and Lenon with Hamzi Hijazi - appeared to be under the influence as she sat in the lobby talking loudly on her phone and drinking alcohol. During the 30-minute call, she could be heard saying, "Mommy loves you" and, "You are the best husband I have ever divorced and you are good to our kids."
Someone is said to have complained about her unusual behaviour and two security guards approached, but Jaime initially ignored them and held up a finger as she continued her call.
When she hung up, onlookers said the 49-year-old star approached a woman attending a wedding, touched her arm and complained about the security guard.
She then received another call, but a security guard ended the conversation and told her, "We're done".
The Mom actress stepped outside to smoke and returned 10 minutes later holding hands with a valet employee before heading straight to the bar.
She was eventually escorted away by security, with one witness telling the outlet she was asked to leave after touching another guest, seemingly the woman who was there for the wedding.
Sources told TMZ that Jaime was dealing with family matters at the time, which contributed to her unusual behaviour.
The actress ultimately cancelled her appearance at GalaxyCon.
A spokesperson for the star has yet to comment, while a hotel representative said: "Given our privacy obligations, we are unable to provide any information."
Earlier this year, Jaime joined adults-only subscription platform OnlyFans in order to "connect directly" with fans on her "own terms".
She told Variety in a statement: “I’ve always believed in evolving with the times.
“This is another way for me to connect directly with my audience, on my own terms, with creativity and intention. I’ve loved meeting fans at various Comic Cons, and the excitement of having those real face to face moments made me want to seek options like OnlyFans.”
