Alessandria Ambrosio has got engaged.
The 45-year-old model is set to marry Buck Palmer after the jewellery designer got down on one knee to pop the question after almost two years of dating.
Alessandria shared photos from the proposal, including the bikini-clad model with her arms around Buck, who wore only shorts as they stood inside a heart made of flower petals strewn in the sand, one of the matching heart tattoos on their wrists, and several taken during the romantic moment, as well as a short video taken by drone.
She captioned the post: “I’d choose you in this life and every life. Here’s to forever, my love."
The happy news
Back in April, the Victoria's Secret beauty - who has children Anja, 17, and Noah, 14, with former fiance Jamie Mazur - sparked engagement speculation when she wore a gold band on her ring finger in a series of photos she shared on Instagram from a vacation in Bali with Buck.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper at the time: “If Alessandra is engaged she has not told her friends yet, but everyone feels like she and Buck are headed that way because they are very serious and in love, so this may be a big hint from her that they are headed toward matrimony. It is likely that he designed that ring she is wearing on her wedding finger because that's his job - he designs jewellery.”
Another source said: “She has never been happier because he has a great sense of adventure and likes to try new things, he is perfect for her. She is not opposed to getting married, she is being open with her heart, so who knows they may walk down the aisle.”
The couple went public with their romance in January 2025 when they were seen on vacation in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil together, just days after Buck - who was previously married to Ashley Hart - had gushed about finding love.
He wrote on Instagram: “To top off this year finding and falling in Love with such an amazing partner, someone who inspires me daily, someone in which we have so much fun in the ordinary, someone who ignites a passion for life and makes everything more bright … im So so glad I found you again my [heart]. I couldn’t be more thankful.(sic)"
