Harry Potter bosses are reportedly clamping down on bullying allegations between cast members and crew.

Filming is underway for the upcoming HBO revival of the wizarding saga based on JK Rowling's novels, but senior management are said to be dealing with the issues within the production, as well as two 12-year-old extras allegedly fighting in between shoots.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "There are a lot of youngsters on set at any one time, and the reality is that not everyone is going to get on.

“It’s an alarming problem and bosses want to get rid of any bad eggs among the cast and crew.

“Bosses have issued warnings about behaviour. The bullying accusations have involved adults and children."

The show is expected to run for much of the next decade with each series focused on one of the seven books, and bosses don't want any problems.

The insider added: “It has been made clear that anyone reported for bullying will be immediately axed — no matter how famous they may be.

“Filming is going to last eight years and bosses are adamant that any inappropriate behaviour must be nipped in the bud.”

Warner Bros bosses have said to have issued anti-bullying policies, and emailed workers to let them know how to report misconduct allegations, which can be done anonymously.

They will also offer "free online counselling and coaching sessions for all cast and crew and access to wellbeing resources”.

The source noted that the reports so far are being "treated incredibly seriously".

They added: "Bosses have advised everyone who they should contact if they are victimised."

No details regarding who is involved in the alleged complains have been revealed.

The first series is set to hit HBO next year, with Dominic McLaughlin, Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton cast as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, who were portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson on the big screen.

They will be joined by the likes of John Lithgow (Albus Dumbledore) and Nick Frost (Rubeus Hagrid) and more still to be revealed.
