Cop-turned-porn star Summer Fox has revealed her career change led to a rift with her religious relatives.

The web cam girl - who hails from the US but now lives in the UK - previously gave up her X-rated work to pursue a career in the police force but was tempted back to web cam work after finding her new job was not as "exciting" as she expected it to be and she's now revealed her loved ones weren't happy when she went back to making saucy content.

She told the Daily Star newspaper: "[My dad] was still a pastor but he has been retired a year now. When I joined the police he was really proud of me ...

"And then when I went back to webcam it was a bit like ‘oh ...’

"So for my dad it was uncomfortable for him because he was a pastor and he is talking about God and the religious side of stuff and then he has to be like ‘Yeah my daughter does porn and that is OK’. It was hard for him to deal with but he did become more understanding – it took him a while."

However, she stil hasn't completely healed the rift with her siblings. Summer went on to say: "I think my sister and my brother are still not 100 per cent happy with it but I haven’t really spoken to my older brother for about three years.

"He is a pastor as well and he wasn’t really happy with the webcam stuff and doing the porn. But if I ever called him up I am sure he would talk to me but I have just never come round to it."

Summer went on to reveal she uses the skills she learnt responding to emergency calls in the police to deal with men who call in during her Babestation shifts - because they often just want someone to give them advice.

She added: "You have to be able to listen and give advice because in the police I saw that as counselling as well. Most of the call outs would be domestics but you are trying to make peace between the two.

"A lot of the time it will be arguing and it is a case of trying to resolve it and try and sort the problem. So it’s very much the same in that aspect, the verbal stuff and how to speak to people. But obviously the police is different!"
