Sarah Jayne Dunn has “no regrets” about choosing OnlyFans over ‘Hollyoaks’.

The 41-year-old actress was sacked from her long-time role as Mandy Richardson the British soap in 2021 after signing up for the adults-only subscription platform and though she was “shocked and saddened” by what happened at the time, she’s now convinced she made the right decision as she’s never been so financially well off.

Sarah - who played her character Mandy Richardson from 1996 over five stints before her departure - said: “I honestly really enjoy OnlyFans – I wouldn’t be on it if I didn’t. I have no regrets about how things played out.

"I’m in the financial position now where I’m able to turn things down, which I’ve never had before. I’ve always had to take jobs to pay my mortgage and bills – but now I don’t. Like everyone, you’ve got to work to pay for your living. And I get to be at home – I’ve now got a little boy and my husband works, so I wouldn’t want to be away a lot.”

However, the blonde beauty - who has made it into the top 0.5 per cent of content creators on OnlyFans since launching her account – thinks she gets “judged” for her decision to run an account on the platform, even though she won’t share any full-on nudes.

She said: “Content on OnlyFans can be explicit but mine isn’t. You do get judged here though – in America, if you say you’re on OnlyFans, people don’t bat an eyelid. I really enjoyed OnlyFans, it’s a community and it’s very controlled.

“The 18+ age limit means young people can’t access it – something that Instagram doesn’t have, despite the pictures often being similar.”

Sarah Jayne - who has previously insisted that her husband Jonathan Smith is totally supportive of her OnlyFans career - is adamant that her decision to be an OnyFans content creator doesn’t mean she’s given up acting.

In an interview with Closer magazine, she said: "It was really upsetting when ‘Hollyoaks’ gave me an ultimatum. I’d been a big part of the show for the majority of my life and I’d given it everything. But although I left ‘Hollyoaks’, I haven’t chosen OnlyFans over acting.”
